The development of interactive services and games usually takes place on a PC, as does preliminary testing and demo'ing. At certain stages of the development process it can be useful to introduce a more authentic living room feel by allowing a remote control to be used with the PC on which the interactive service is running.

Using a RedRat3-II with any appropriate remote control allows you to setup control of an application with a remote rather than using a mouse or keyboard.

Some interactive TV preview tools already have RedRat support built in. However, our RedRatControl application can be used to set up mappings from remote control buttons to program actions.
