The irNetBox is designed to control up to 16 individual audio/visual devices via external IR emitter leads. It uses a simple and open TCP/IP based communication protocol (pdf), so can be controlled by applications on most platforms.

Updated in September 2008, the new irNetBox-II has switchable output power levels on each IR output. More details can be found in the irNetBox-II FAQ.
